We, the parent / legal guardian of the registered Spartan Athlete, acknowledge the following volunteer requirement with the West Springfield Crew Booster Club:All families with a student rower/coxswain on the Spartan Crew Team are required to volunteer at VASRA Regattas and with the Spartan Crew Team. In order to have a successful team and season The Spartan Crew Team and VASRA depend highly on parent volunteers. Each family will be required to volunteer throughout the school year based on their availability and skills, sign-ups are sent out continuously through email and online social platforms.If the family has more than one (1) rower registered with the team, the family only needs to complete one set of volunteer commitments.The family commitment will be tracked by the Spartan Crew Board and will be shared with families when the team shares the status of dues and fundraising spreadsheet. I understand that the team sometimes take photographs or video footage for publicity purposes and for developing recruiting videos. These images may appear in our printed publications, on our website, or both. We may also send them to the news media. The team also allows parents to post personal pictures and video from team activities on our website for purposes of sharing with other team families. I understand and acknowledge that removing my child from these photos will require me to contact the board.
