Fall Rowing, Learn to Row & Winter Workout

are FREE to all registered athletes.

Team Fees are applied to the Spring Registration,

which opens in NOVEMBER 2026

STEP 1

FCPS requires WSHS Athletic Registration & Physical before any athletic participation or tryout

All Athletes must complete the WSHS Athletics registration every school year and provide an up-to-date physical every 14 months. VHSL Physical form (completed by Physician)
NEW FOR 2026-2027! FCPS is implementing a new athletic registration and forms system for the 26-27 school year. Look for an email in your inbox from FCPS regarding Final Forms Instructions or Final Forms Sign In Portal.

STEP 2

Create WSHS Crew Sports Plus Account

SIGN IN/SIGN UP for Sports Plus HERE

Sports Plus is the team's primary registration & communication platform and is required for WSHS Team Families.

Fall Rowing, Learn-to-Row & Winter Workouts are FREE and strongly encouraged!
Spring rowing registration opens in November, which will include team fee payment schedules.

STEP 3

NOVICE Swim Test

New Rowers and New Coxswains ONLY must complete a Swim Test before participation (on-the-water)
Swim tests are held at South Run Recreational Facility. Test dates will be posted when scheduled
Life Jackets are available for those unable to complete the Swim Test.
Test Dates (South Run Recreation Center)
- September 20th (3-4 pm)
- September 27th (3-4 pm)
- January 10th (3-4 pm)
- February 21st (3-4 pm)
